Famous for spectacular performances, „Dundu“ is a 5 meter tall, fully moveable, transparent, humanoid puppet. Master Puppeteer Tobias Husemann has created a marionette of huge and imposing appearance combined with natural charm and grace.
There are several versions of „Dundu“ of which the largest at 5 meters represents the limits of freely manipulable rod puppets. In darkness, the exceptional aura of these puppets is enhanced by illumination from a built-in lighting system.
Dundu is animated by a team of 5 specially trained professional puppeteers whose innovative skills and sheer number of limbs enable a remarkable agility. The combination of giant proportions and graceful mobility create an atmosphere of wonder and fascination.
